Deborah Crombie was born and educated in Texas. After living in both England and Scotland, she wrote her first Duncan Kincaid / Gemma James novel. Excellent writing, together with complex cases and a pair of thoroughly enjoyable detectives make for entertaining and enjoyable reading.
