We sell pre-read paperbacks at half the cover price.
And
We exchange your pre-read paperbacks for store credit (approx. 1/7 - 1/10 the cover price) which you can use in our store to pay for half of your next purchase.
TRY DOING THAT AT BORDERS or BARNES & NOBLE!
In other words, 50% of each purchase must be cash, to cover the balance you can use your credit.
For example:
- You bring in a book with a cover price of $7.99
- Annie's give you a store credit for $1.10
- You choose a pre-read book from Annie's with a cover price of $7.99 = Annie's Price $3.99
- You use your store credit of $1.10 and pay only $2.89 plus CT tax!
